<p>Professor Olga Palagia, a renowned expert in Greek art and archaeology from Athens University, will be presenting a lecture at our university next week (March 26, 12:30-1:30 in EV3 4412) entitled:
<b><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Ritual Dances in Greek Sculpture</span></b>. She will also be presenting a lecture (open to the public) at the ROM on March 27, 7pm entitled,
<b><span style="font-size:14.0pt">The Impact of Alexander on the Arts of Greece</span></b>.

<p>Regarded as one of the world's leading experts in ancient Greek sculpture, Professor Palagia has published over a dozen books and articles on Greek art. She has held numerous Fellowships at prestigious research institutes and museums
around the world, including the British Museum in London and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

Classical Archaeology National and Kapodistrian University (Athens, Greece) on Thursday March 27th at 7pm at the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto.<u></u><u></u></p>

<p>Few individuals from history have captured the imagination quite like Alexander the Great (336-323 B.C.). He is most famous for his vast military success. He is so monumental a figure, however, that he also had a large impact on the
development of every aspect of Ancient Greek Culture, including Ancient Greek art. Prof. Palagia will discuss this fascinating topic.<u></u><u></u></p>
