of those explorers, most famously all the member of Sir John Franklin's 1845 expedition. This presentation will discuss the history of European explorations of the Canadian Arctic and describe what recent archaeological research has revealed about the lives
and deaths of these explorers, along with what still remains to be learned.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
