very quickly rose from relative obscurity to gain national and international critical acclaim and become a box-office hit. The film portrays the initiation into a life of politics of a young student in the context of the highly politicized environment of Latin
American public universities. This is a story about ethics and politics that provides a fascinating insight into student life at one of Latin America’s largest and most prestigious university, the University of Buenos Aires, in Argentina (founded in 1821).
