</span></u><span style="font-size:16.0pt;color:black">The presentation will provide an overview of current research examining the outcomes of immigrants to Canada primarily using data available at the Canadian Research Data Centres. The first part of the presentation
examines the declining outcomes of recent immigrant cohorts and the significance for income inequality in Canada. The second part examines the impact of September 11<sup>th</sup> on the outcomes of immigrants in Canada in an attempt to identify discrimination.
In the final component of the presentation, the importance of the class that immigrants are selected under on the economic outcomes of the children is examined.
