Join us at the Three Minute Thesis (3MT) University of Waterloo finals on Thursday, March 31st from 3:00-4:30pm in Humanities Theatre, Hagey Hall.</p>

<span style="line-height: inherit;">19 graduate students, working on everything from early warning signals of vaccine scares to community-based approaches to marine conservation, will present their research </span><span style="line-height: inherit;">with a
three minute presentation and just one static slide.</span></p>
<p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px; border: none;"><span style="line-height: inherit;">Arts faculty heat winner, Elise Vist (PhD candidate, English) will be presenting on </span>“<span style="line-height: inherit;">Queer Fans and Intimate Fandoms</span>”<span style="line-height: inherit;"> and
competing for the </span><span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); line-height: inherit;">$1,000 prize and a place at the provincial competition. </span></p>
