The exhibition consists of four stations that present sculptures in the form of furniture and textile objects, alongside videos that explore concepts of becoming through performance. Each work contains moments of co-creation, between the subjects within the works as well as between the artworks and the audience. My paintings are developed in stages; beginning with a process of mining and selecting specific images, which are then manipulated before being tested as studies on paper or translated to canvas. Focusing primarily on female figures I search for a sense of strangeness or ambiguity in each image—uncertainty about the figure’s actions or whereabouts in space. I mine this ambiguity to explore relationships between past and present, reflecting a personal need to establish a sense of identity and understanding of my family’s past as well as exploring the universal relationship we have to the photographic image.</span><br><br><strong style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
