<p class="bcx9"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Dr. Alison Phipps takes an anthropological approach to the work of memory and reconciliation in communities where conflict and trauma have left, passed through, arrived and also survived. Her
 lecture focuses on theological and spiritual dimensions of integration and hospitality work. Phipps, the UNESCO Chair in Refugee Integration through Languages and the Arts at the University of Glasgow, will draw on her many years of working with the arts in
 a variety of international settings to explore how arts-based methods enable intercultural dialogue, challenge yet also facilitate the amelioration of xenophobia, and are a vital element in the work of integrating refugees and communities.  <o:p></o:p></span></p>
