Neve Gordon is a professor of law and human rights at the School of Law at Queen Mary University of London and is a Fellow of the British Academy of Social Sciences. Previously, he taught for 17 years at Ben-Gurion University in Israel. Among other publications,
he is the co-author <i>Human Shields: A History of People in the Line of Fire</i> (University of California Press, 2020, published in paperback in 2026 with a new preface and epilogue). He is a panel member of the Gaza Tribunal and a board member of the International
State Crime Initiative.</div>
