Hi folks,

I wanted to share a little information about New Brunswick's only
professional summer theatre company, Live Bait Theatre.

Live Bait is based in Sackville, a small town famous for it's Waterfowl
park and University - Mount Allison. If you're travelling the Maritimes
this summer, you might like to stop in and take in a show.
Live Bait's seventh season opens July 7 and runs through August 27. Once
again the season is a mixture of drama, music and comdedy, featuring some
the the finest talents in Atlantic Canada.

July 7-23
The Canadian classic, "Of the Fields, lately" by David French opens the
season. A father and son struggle to overcome a lifetime of resentment and
misunderstanding in the face of the father's death. Directed by award
winning writer/director Bryden MacDonald, the cast includes award-winning
Fredericton actor Robbie O'Neill; Halifax based Deb Allen, one of the stars
of the CBC T-V drama, "Life with Billy."; Live Bait Co-Artistic Director
Charlie Rhindress and CBC Radio Moncton Host, Dave McClelland completes the
cast. Opens July 7 and runs Tuesday to Saturday through July 23. Curtain
time 8:00 pm at Sackville's Windsor Theatre.

July 28-August 13
"Gates Motel," a new play written and directed by Charlie Rhindress is the
second play of the season... a quirky thriller set in an isolated motel run
by Rusty Gates, a man fascinated with Hitchcock's "Psycho." Runs July 28 to
August 13, Tuesday - Saturday at 8:00 pm at Sackville's Windsor Theatre.

August 18-27
The hit musical, "Little Shop of Horrors," closes the season. The story of
a lowly florist's assistant who finds himself mixed up with a man-eating
plant. Directed by Live Bait Co-Artistic Director, Karen Valanne. For this
final show, Live Bait moves to a large tent by Sackville's Octagonal
Tourist Bureau. Performances begin at 8:30 pm August 18-27.
