There is also a play by Carol Bolt about Ambrose Small which was first
done at Blyth in the early 1980's.. PUC would have more details.. I
have a copy of the Fred McClemant book somewhere buried in the pile here..

Also about four years back, when I was working at the Tivoli Theatre, (An
old 1923 vaudelville house here in Hamilton, Ont).. We found a trunk in
the basement with Ambrose Small's name on it.. (As the Grand Opera
House, which had formally stood next store to the Tivoli was one of
Small's theatre's it is possible that the trunk did indeed belong to
him.. Or at least to one of his touring companies.. Sadly there was no
missing $100000 in it..)

The Grand Theatre in London is reputed to be haunted by Small.
