THE SUICIDE FRANCHISE is a 90-minute full-length comedy about a
hypothetical business located on top of the Golden Gate Bridge in San
Francisco, where unhappy people come to jump off the deck into San
Francisco Bay and kill themselves. In light of the recent Heaven's
Gate/Hale Bopp incident, the play seems especially relevant.

The play is about the unsatisfactory and unfulfilled lives that people
often lead in our gaudy, but sometimes empty material world.

THE SUICIDE FRANCHISE is very funny, and very horrifying. In a different
form (as a one act, produced by the One Act Theater Company of San
Francisco), it has already had two successful productions.

Would you, or anyone in your theater community be interesting in reading
the script?
