Brouhaha in Montreal

Be concerned, be very concerned. The musicians guild here made themselves
very noisy over the fact that the mega-hit Notre Dame de Paris was using
taped music rather than live. The guild held a concert outside the theatre
the other night and that seems to have pushed the producers over the edge;
they slapped the guild with a $1m+ defamation suit.

Concerned parties are Luc Plamondon, the lyricist for the show, Gilles
Maheu, the director and Coscient, the producers. Make yourselves heard, for
gadssake...
