NLC's Inventory of Canadian Digital Initiatives

Hello All,

I checked out the NLC reference web site below. A search under "theatre"
got ZERO results and a subject listing revealed only 8 (!!) sites for "The
Arts" and 7 (!!) sites under "Literature." To be fair, the note states the
NLC depends of visitors' submissions and allows visitors to add their
suggestions.

They define "digital initiatives" in the message below and I think at least
ACTS, the Ball and Plant Bibliography on-line, TRIC's searchable index, and
the Canadian Theatre Encyclopedia, and other web sites probably fit their
definition. I urge managers of these and other existing sites to check out
this NLC site and consider submitting their sites though I'm not sure, with
all the search engines around, if this project is redundant? (though I
guess it's specific to *Canadian* "initiatives") Anyway... I assume
there's no harm being listed with the NLC.

Cheers, --- Kathy.
