New PhD program

Dear all,

The Universities of Guelph and Wilfred Laurier's new PhD program in
Literary Studies/Theatre Studies is up and running and accepting
applications for next fall. Students can concentrate on either literatary
or theatre studies, or may work at the interdisciplinary intersection of
the two.

This will be only the fourth program in Canada (along with Toronto, UBC,
and Victoria) to offer a PhD in Theatre Studies.

It is a unique program that has been widely praised, but is accepting only
a very limited number of students. If you want to get a sense the program,
