Drama - Performance

The University of Lethbridge, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of
Theatre and Dramatic Arts, invites applications for a full-time,
tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level to teach
performance, effective July 1st, 2002, subject to Board of Governor’s
approval.

A MFA or equivalent graduate degree is required along with a
demonstrated record of creative activity, scholarly research and
excellence in teaching.  Professional theatre experience would be an
asset.  The successful candidate will teach core courses in Acting,
Theatre for Young Audiences, Introduction to Dramatic Arts and other
courses according to program needs and the instructor’s expertise.  The
successful candidate must also have the desire and ability to
participate in the development and operation of the Department and the
Faculty.

The Faculty of Fine Arts, housed in the Centre for the Arts with
state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, offers degree programs in
Music, Art, Drama and Multimedia within a liberal arts context with a
focus on excellence in teaching and research/creative activity. For more

statement of teaching philosophy, current research program and samples
of recent publications/performances, as well as three letters or
