                              SCENIC DESIGNER

The  School of Dramatic Art seeks a Scenic Designer/Scenic Artist to design
and  paint  the  scenery  for  two  productions,  and  the painting of four
additional productions in University Players’ 2004/2005 season.

A  proven  record  of  design  in  the  professional  theatre and/or at the
university level and demonstrated skills in drafting and scene painting are
essential;  teaching experience is desirable.  Plays in the season are: Les
Belles   Soeurs;   Scenes  and  Revelations;  Little  Women;  Les  Liaisons
Dangereuses; Come Back to the 5 and Dime Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean; and As You
Like It.

In   accordance  with  Canadian  Immigration  Requirements,  all  qualified
candidates   are  encouraged  to  apply,  however,  Canadian  citizens  and
permanent  residents will be given priority.   In pursuit of the University
