Hello Dramaphiles,

Athabasca University is seeking an academic tutor for English 633:
Post-colonial Drama, in the Masters of Integrated Studies programme.
For the course description and details on MAIS, please consult the
Athabasca University web site: www.athabascau.ca under "postgraduate
programs and courses."

Students have 6 months to complete this 3-credit course.  Tutoring is by
phone and e-mail, and participation in a "chat room" (Bazaar), and
includes marking three substantive research papers.

Course materials will be provided, including texts and a Study Guide.

Terms are:
$500 per student from February 1, 2005 to December 31, 2005.  AUFA
Casual Appointment, timesheet to be submitted for payment.  Payment made
after 30 day Early Withdrawal Period. No payment will be made if student
withdraws from course within the first 30 days (as per AUFA “Letter of
Agreement, Overload - 2004").

Qualification:
Ph.D. in literature or drama/theatre, with a specialization in
post-colonial drama, and teaching experience at the post-graduate level.
   Experience in on-line, distance education would be an asset.  The
academic tutor may be located anywhere in Canada, but must have access
to a high-speed internet provider.
