Montreal Congress 2010 Human Rights Master Class for Graduate Students

The announcement below is being forwarded from the Concordia Congress 2010
organizers and may be of interest to graduate students attending the
conference. Could Graduate coordinators and supervisors, please post and
circulate this to interested students? Thanks!

This is a reminder of the Call for Applicants for the Human Rights Master
Classes being offered to Masters- and PhD-level graduate students during
Congress 2010. Twenty Masters and PhD students from across Canada will be
selected to participate in the classes that will be led by experts on a
variety of topics, including genocide and refugees, child soldiers,
international law and justice, photojournalism and documentary film.  We are
asking for you help in publicizing this event as widely as possible to
graduate students in your association. The Call for Applications is
attached. Please note that the deadline for students to apply is April 16,
2010.

D’ailleurs, nous vous rappelons de l’appel de candidatures des Master
Classes de la Journée des droits de la personne.  Vingt étudiants de
maîtrise et de doctorat du Canada tout entier seront sélectionnés pour y
participer. Ces cours seront donnés par des experts et porteront sur divers
sujets dont le génocide, les réfugiés, les enfants-soldats, la justice et le
droit international, le photojournalisme et le film documentaire. Nous vous
saurions gré de bien vouloir nous aider à publiciser cet événement auprès
des étudiants de 2e et 3e cycles de votre association. À cet effet, vous
trouverez ci-joint l’appel de candidatures. Veuillez prendre note que la
date limite de soumission est le 16 avril 2010.
