Lecturer or Assistant Professor of THEATRE ARTS

The Theatre Arts Program at Thorneloe University (federated with Laurentian University) invites applications for a 10-month limited-term sabbatical replacement at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor of Theatre Arts, beginning August 1, 2011.  The position is subject to budgetary approval. The department offers a certificate, a 3 yr BA, a 4 yr Honours BA and a 4 yr BFA degree. The successful candidate will have a PhD in Theatre or be ABD and close to completion.   The successful applicant will teach theatre history, Canadian theatre, script analysis and dramaturgy. As well as teaching, an opportunity to direct a mainstage production is possible.
