CATR/ACRT members who were at last year’s AGM will recall that the
executive had adopted a decision to move the 2011 election to an
electronic platform. This task has been accomplished and on February
12, 2011 all current/active members of the association (those who have
renewed using the new online system from November 2010 to early February
2011) will be sent an email containing the link to the ballot. Members
will then have approximately one month to make their selections and on
March 11, 2011 the election will automatically close. The election
system has been configured in such a way that email addresses cannot be
traced so voter anonymity will be maintained.
Members who renew between February 12, 2011 and March 09, 2011 will
also be sent an email containing the link to the ballot. Please allow
up to a week from the time you renew online until the time that you
receive your electronic invitation to vote.
There will be no paper ballots being mailed this year and so in order
to ensure that you are eligible to vote in the upcoming election it is
imperative that, if you haven’t already done so, you renew your
membership quickly. Your membership can easily and quickly be renewed
by going to http://www.catr-acrt.ca/ and clicking on the “become a
member today” button. After that you will be taken to a log in page and
enter the g the username and password were sent to you in November
(upper right had corner). Follow the prompts and the process should
take just a couple of minutes.
The email containing the temporary information was sent out in November
(when our membership renewal process went electronic) BUT f you have
lost the email with your login ID and temporary password for the new
system you should contact Peter Kuling (Membership Coordinator) at
catr.membership at gmail.com and your information will be resent.
You can pay your membership renewal with a credit card (Visa or
MasterCard) or cheque.
Thanks!
