Bob Hinitt will be sadly missed. He made so many people's lives that much
better, whether students, colleagues or friends. The theatre and local
theatre folk will miss him and so will the thousands who flocked to his
house around Christmas to see his beautiful displays.
God speed, Bob.

Hi everyone,

I thought that people would be saddened to hear that Bob Hinitt, one of
the two people we honoured with an Honorary membership at Congress 2007,
passed away on Friday at the age of 86. He attended every season at
Stratford right from its start until a few years ago when he simply became
too ill to travel.

He was a dear man and will be terribly missed by all of us who knew him.

I am including the link to the Star Phoenix notice:

Sincerely,

Moira
