Source of Grotowski quote

I have head or read somewhere that Jerzy Growtowski, when asked about his version of Marlowe's Dr. Faustus, said something to the effect that he wanted to say something different to a 20th century audience than Marlowe wanted to say to a 15th century one. Does anyone know the source and exact wording for that statement?

Thanks,
