Dear Colleagues,

Registration for the 2014 Classroom @ The Fringe closes in March. We shall
be very grateful if you could forward this information to your students and
faculty colleagues. Classroom is a unique non performing opportunity for
students of theatre and media to attend the 2014 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Full information and registration online is available at
<http://www.edinburghclassroom.com> www.edinburghclassroom.com

Classroom @ The Fringe is a brand new 2 week residential enrichment study
course, held in conjunction with the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Queen
Margaret University in August 2014.

The programme was developed in response to theatre faculty requesting a easy
way for their students to come and revel in the creative energy that is the
Fringe, in a non performing capacity and on an independent basis. At the
same time the Fringe is so vast, attending unaccompanied can be quite a
daunting prospect for many students (and faculty too). We believe
Classroom @ The Fringe is the answer. It is open to all individual students
and faculty, and suitable for students of theatre, film and media arts. It
offers security, expert guidance and some structure to the time in Scotland,
combined with plenty of opportunities to explore the 24/7 theatre scene by
themselves or in small groups.

What is Classroom @ The Fringe? In a nutshell it's a 2 week residential
course in Edinburgh during the Fringe in August 2014. Participants will see
fantastic theatre, attend stimulating workshops and group discussions and
get to enjoy one of the world's great capital cities as it hosts the
greatest arts festival in the world.

Hosted by top US, Canadian and Scottish theatre faculty, Classroom will
feature a fantastic range of daily workshops on the tranquil campus of Queen
Margaret University, Edinburgh. There will also be lots of time to attend
many Fringe productions, take in some sightseeing and enjoy great
camaraderie in the company of other students of theatre and media who have
travelled to Edinburgh for the very same purpose.

So please forward the word about this wonderful opportunity to your students
or faculty colleagues, and encourage them to visit the Classroom website at
http://www.edinburghclassroom.com for full details and registration.
Registration is now open and early bird registration by October 31st
entitles students to a free ticket to a performance of the famous Edinburgh
Military Tattoo at the Castle.

Space is strictly limited to 100 participants only. Professors interested
in bringing their own small group of students, please just send us an email
for special pricing details.

In addition, a great looking Classroom flyer is headed your way in the US
Mail, please look for it. We will be very grateful if you can post it
prominently in your department. Please Email us at
info at edinburghclassroom.com if you need additional copies or if someone
snags your copy before it reaches your desk.

All logistics are handled by theatre study tour experts, Select Travel
Study, so you know your students will be in great hands during their
Edinburgh experience.

Wishing you a fantastic spring semester and thank you for your support.
Please accept our apologies for any cross list postings.

With very best wishes,
