Mount Allison University is pleased to invite applications for the J.E.A. Crake Drama Fellow, 2014-15

The Crake Drama Fellow will contribute to a non-conservatory inter-disciplinary program in Drama Studies that supports an extensive season of theatrical production in Canada's top-ranked undergraduate university.

The Fellow, an artist-scholar with a minimum qualification of an MFA or equivalent experience, will be asked to supervise student projects, direct a production, contribute to program course-offerings in areas of the candidate's expertise and interest "equivalent to work required to prepare and deliver one three-credit course per term"; and to provide leadership in other ways appropriate to her/his qualifications and experience while serving as part of a team of theatre professionals and academics.

The term of the appointment, subject to budgetary approval, will be from 1 September 2014 to 30 April 2015, with the possibility of renewal for one further eight-month term.
The Fellow will receive $29,500 plus benefits and an allowance of up to $3,500 to cover moving and expenses related to research and/or creative activity.

Review of applications will begin on 1 February 2014 and will continue until the position is filled. Applications must include a complete résumé, transcripts where appropriate, and three letters of reference, and should be sent to:
