Searching for info on John Burgess

[T. Berto]

Does anyone know any information, biographical, or career oriented about John Burgess, a playwright from the 60s and 70s? According to Donald McLean, Burgess presented 3 gay themed plays on March 14-16, 1974 at U of Waterloo. Furthermore, he won the Dominion drama festival prize in 1966 for "A stranger unto my brethren". Any info would be appreciated.
