CanDrama - the New Generation

Dear Candrama Subscribers,

Thank you to Toby and Andy for setting up the new Candrama listerv at U Waterloo! And thank you in particular for doing so in such short order.

I see that the process is quite straightforward when you follow the links Toby has provided.

As mentioned before, this old UNB listerv will remain online throughout most of the summer to give you time to migrate (won’t take but a few minutes), but it will be deleted by September 1 at the latest.

And don’t forget about:

a) the new Canadian Theatre Research and Performance Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/CanadianTheatreResearch). I’m particularly enjoying the campus production photos that are emerging in one Photo Album there; and

b) the forthcoming CATR Website’s ‘backstage’ Group Discussion access. The CATR Exec is planning to have this online this summer. We’ll let you know  through CATR membership email list and the Candrama listerv (new and old) when it’s ready.

I imagine the UNB CanDrama will carry on for a little while with some cross-over until the list is permanently disabled at that end.  We at Waterloo will now commence discussions with Robin to negotiate the hosting of CanDrama archives at UW, although this is likely some weeks away, if not longer.

Please let me or Andy Houston (houston at uwaterloo.ca<mailto:houston at uwaterloo.ca>) know if there are any concerns or questions.  We would like to thank Robin for placing his faith in the Waterloo servers, and to Craig for offering a very strong alternative were we unable to leap into the breach.
