Dear artists, activists, and friends of performance and politics,

We are delighted to celebrate the 20th anniversary of alt. theatre magazine! It has been a pleasure to engage in the intersections of politics and the performing arts with Canada’s diverse communities for two decades standing. Together, we have created a home for social activism, diversity, and plurality, and we kindly invite our supporters to celebrate this momentous occasion with our editorial team.

We hope you will join us November 18th 2018 from 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM at the
MAI (Montréal, arts interculturels - 3680, rue Jeanne-Mance) (https://alttheatre.us13.list-manage.com/track/click?u=c85eb0eab3c28b364841debaa&id=5e6c7edc48&e=1c5b3c45ea) for refreshments and lively discussion with our editorial team, contributors, and alumni, alongside live readings from exciting practitioners. We are sad to be saying farewell to our Editor in Chief Michelle MacArthur, who will be welcoming and passing the torch to the incoming Aaron Franks.

Our fête will be followed by the closing performance of
