Dear colleagues

Many of you would be familiar with *Stanislavski Studies
<https://www.tandfonline.com/journals/rfst20>*, an international,
peer-reviewed journal that focuses on Stanislavski’s work as actor,
director, teacher and theoretician, and its impact on contemporary theatre
and performance. Closely associated with the work of the Stanislavsky
Research Centre <https://stanislavsky-research.leeds.ac.uk/> and The S Word
<https://stanislavsky-research.leeds.ac.uk/the-s-word/> project, the
journal certainly has Stanislavsky research at its core, but is also
interested in broader performance discussions on actor training, theatre
historiography, performance and politics, and Practice as Research, among
others. The journal is also interested in adaptations of Stanislavsky’s
ideas in new contexts, be they geographical, cultural, or disciplinary.

Kindly consider submitting your work to *Stanislavski Studies*. We have a
"rolling " submission process, with no fixed deadlines, and papers are
published online first and then in print with two issues a year. Typical
essays range between 5-7000 words.

More information about the submission process can be accessed here
<https://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/rfst>, but in the meantime do get in
touch with me if you have an idea you want to discuss. Please use the
following email: stefan.aquilina at um.edu.mt.

Best regards

Stefan Aquilina
