Please help us spread the word that the extended deadline for our tenure-track position in Indigenous Theatre and Performance in the Department of Dramatic Arts at Brock University is Monday, January 23, 2023 (note the posting names 12:01am on January 24, which is functionally January 23.)

Please note especially:

"Specific areas of research, creative, and/or professional specialization may include any aspect of theatre and performance studies and/or making, including but not limited to performance creation, devising, writing, dramaturgy, design, stage or production management, theatre administration, audience engagement, and/or practice as research.
….
Candidates must self-identify as Indigenous; that is, as First Nations (status, non-status, treaty or non-treaty), Métis, or Inuit.

Consideration will be given to candidates who possess Indigenous cultural knowledge, professional experience, and/or scholarly qualifications relevant to the requirements of the position.

The Department of Dramatic Arts is committed to providing mentorship, resources, and service opportunities to support the successful candidate’s program of research/creation and professional development in this position. The Department of Dramatic Arts and Brock University value and support Indigenous and creative knowledges and recognize them in tenure and promotion processes.”
