Le Département de théâtre de l'Université d'Ottawa accepte les demandes d'admission aux programmes de maîtrise M.A. et M.P.T. pour 2024-2025.



Maîtrise ès arts en théâtre (MA) (théorie théâtrale et dramaturgie)

Nos étudiants et étudiantes à la maîtrise développent les compétences analytiques et scientifiques nécessaires pour poursuivre des études au niveau doctoral dans un programme qui enseigne de nouvelles approches de la pratique de la dramaturgie et de l'écriture créative pour la performance.



Le programme de 2 ans est offert à temps plein et à temps partiel. Les séminaires seront enseignés de manière bimodale (en personne et en ligne).



Le processus d’admission est en cours : la première date butoir est le 1er février 2024. Cependant, nous examinerons toutes les candidatures jusqu'à ce que le programme soit complet.

Maîtrise en pratique théâtrale (M.P.T.) (mise en scène)

Nos étudiants et étudiantes à la M.P.T. apprennent les approches contemporaines de la mise en scène théâtrale dans un programme qui englobe à la fois la création d'œuvres originales et la révision du répertoire traditionnel. Les étudiants et les étudiantes travaillent dans des espaces théâtraux ultramodernes et dirigent trois productions de plus en plus sophistiquées au cours d'une période de deux ans. Ils travaillent avec les étudiants et les étudiantes de notre programme de jeu en théâtre ainsi qu’avec des comédiens et des concepteurs professionnels. La M.P.T. est un programme à temps plein uniquement (deux ans).



La date limite pour déposer une demande est le 1er février 2024.

 The Department of Theatre at the University of Ottawa is accepting applications for admission to MA and MFA programs for 2024-2025.

Our MA students develop the analytical and scholarly skills they need for doctoral studies in a program that teaches new approaches to the practice of dramaturgy and to creative writing for performance.



The 2-year program is offered full-time and part-time. The seminars will be taught bi-modally (in person and on line).

Our MFA students learn contemporary approaches to theatre directing in a program that embraces both the creation of original work and the re-examination of traditional repertoire. Our students work in state-of-the-art theatre spaces, direct three incrementally more sophisticated productions over the course of two years. They work with the students from our BFA in Contemporary Acting, and work with professional actors and designers. The MFA. in Directing is a full-time program only (two years).
