<html><div style='background-color:'><DIV><FONT face="Courier New">Society for Canadian Dance Studies <BR>Société des etudes canadiennes en danse <BR><BR>CALL FOR PAPERS <BR><BR>The Society for Canadian Dance Studies/Société des etudes canadiennes en danse will hold its first conference during the Canada Dance Festival/Festival Danse Canada 2002 at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa. <BR><BR>Paper presentations will be held on the mornings of June 11, 12 and 13 and a general meeting of members will occur on June 14. Proposals are sought in all areas of Canadian dance studies and all proposals will be considered equally. Presentations will be made in each presenter’s chosen language of French or English. <BR><BR>Those interested in participating should submit proposals in the form of an abstract (maximum 300 words). Proposals for panels on a specific theme will also be considered (maximum 500 words). All individual and panel presentations will be limited to 30 minutes.
