<DIV></DIV>>>The Society for Canadian Dance Studies, in collaboration with the
<DIV></DIV>>>Canada Dance Festival and The Dance Current magazine, will hold a
<DIV></DIV>>>conference from June 8-10, 2004 in Ottawa, Canada. Paper
<DIV></DIV>>>presentations will be held in the mornings and are part of Dance
<DIV></DIV>>>Dialogues 2004, a series of dance literacy activities to be held
<DIV></DIV>>>June 4-11.
<DIV></DIV>>>
<DIV></DIV>>>Proposals are sought in all areas of critical thought but topics
<DIV></DIV>>>must pertain to the works and artists presented at the 2004 Canada
<DIV></DIV>>>Dance Festival (a list follows). Presentations will be made in the
<DIV></DIV>>>presenter’s chosen language of French or English.
<DIV></DIV>>>
<DIV></DIV>>>Those interested in participating should submit proposals in the
<DIV></DIV>>>form of an abstract (maximum 200 words). Please include a biography
<DIV></DIV>>>(maximum 75 words). All presentations will be limited to 30
<DIV></DIV>>>minutes, which includes a question period. Please list audio-visual
<DIV></DIV>>>requirements in your proposal.
