the series<BR>> 'Cambridge Studies in American Theatre and Drama' will
end. When all<BR>> titles are published there will be over 30 in the
series. I'm<BR>> pleased with the quality and high level of scholarship
of the books<BR>> in the series and regret that the series will be
terminated.<BR>><BR>> However, I am pleased to announce officially that I
am editing a new<BR>> series for Palgrave Macmillan, 'Studies in Theatre and
Performance<BR>> History and Culture.' Unlike the Cambridge UP series, the
new one has<BR>> no geographical parameters and will consider excellent
studies in the<BR>> field, regardless of location, approach, etc. Some
historical<BR>> perspective or context will be expected but otherwise the
range of<BR>> possibilities is very broad. Three titles are in
production and<BR>> others are being considered.<BR>><BR>> It is my
intention to attend the ASTR meeting in Las Vegas and will<BR>> have a flyer
on the series with me then. If you plan to attend and<BR>> have a book
project underway--or hope to--please track me down, get a<BR>> flyer, and
take a few minutes to tell me about your work. If more<BR>> time is
needed, we can make a longer appointment during the time we<BR>> are in
