<P><FONT FACE="Courier New">As part of my book project on modern Québécois performance, I am researching Céline Dion’s affective power on the Québécois public. Why is she loved, hated, and mocked in equal measure? In what respect is she Québécoise? To get a sense of how she is viewed, I’ve devised a short online survey soliciting people’s emotional responses -- positive, negative, or indifferent -- to her music, her image, and her products (perfume, keychains, etc.). </FONT></P>
