<DIV>I am looking for the date of the earliest Canadian production of 

<EM>Richard II</EM> directed by a Canadian (Anglophone or Francophone) with 

a Canadian cast.  I believe that Jean Gascon's 1962 production was the 

first French language one in Canada.  Do you happen to know 

if there was an earlier English Canadian production?  Or  where I 

might find this information?
