All the above courses will be taught on campus. Fall term begins
September 1, 2006 and ends December 31, 2006; Winter term begins on
January 1, 2007 and concludes on April 30, 2007; Fall/Winter Session
classes begin September 1, 2006 and end April 30, 2007. <br><br>
Successful candidates will typically have a graduate degree or advanced
standing in the profession. They will have expertise in the field or
fields relevant to the course, appropriate teaching experience, and
strong teaching skills. <br><br>
A candidate appointed to teach a load of 1.5 courses or less may be
eligible for appointment to a Sessional Adjunct position, as defined by
the Collective Agreement for Sessional Adjuncts. A candidate appointed to
teach a load of 2.0 courses or more may be considered for appointment to
a Term Adjunct position as defined by the Collective Agreement for
Faculty, Librarians and Archivists between QUFA and Queen's University.

student at Queen's during the period of their employment as an instructor
is eligible for appointment as a Teaching Fellow. <br><br>
