<P class=MsoNormal style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><SPAN lang=EN-GB style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB">The University of Ottawa is located in the heart of the National Capital which is home to a wealth of artistic institutions and is ideally situated between Montreal and Toronto. The Department of Theatre is a rapidly growing department with an exciting MFA program in Directing and a new MA in Theatre, in the area of theory and dramaturgy, which will be inaugurated in September, 2008. At the undergraduate level the Department offers a Minor, a Major comprising two streams, and an Honours Specialist in Theatre. Each of these programs is available in French and in English.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>

<P class=MsoNormal style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US">Qualifications: a PhD in Theatre; with specialization in Theatre History and additional expertise in English Canadian theatre; a proficient knowledge of theatre theory is an asset; scholarly publications are required; experience in University teaching at a variety of levels is expected.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN><o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
