<DIV>Hi Moira,</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>You should try "Archives francaises du film" (<A
href="http://www.cnc-aff.fr/internet_cnc/Home.aspx?Menu=MNU_ACCUEIL">http://www.cnc-aff.fr/internet_cnc/Home.aspx?Menu=MNU_ACCUEIL</A>).
They have an amazing collection of early French films and they are sometimes
willing to make VHS copies and ship them across the Atlantic. Aude Vejus (<A
href="mailto:aude.vejus@cnc.fr">aude.vejus@cnc.fr</A>) is the person I have
dealt with there.</DIV>

<DIV>Good luck</DIV>

<DIV>Subject: Bernhardt films 1900-1923</DIV></DIV>
<DIV><BR></DIV>> Hi everyone,<BR>> <BR>> I was looking into films made
by Sarah Bernhardt between 1900 and 1923, <BR>> and wondered if anyone knew
where any extant copies of her films could <BR>> be found or easily
accessed. I was particularly interested in her 1915 <BR>> film Mères
Françaises (Mothers of France) in which she played Madame <BR>> Jeanne
D'Urbex a war widow in World War I. I understand that it was <BR>> released
in both English and French and reached an international <BR>>
audience.<BR>> <BR>> Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks<BR>> <BR>> Moira<BR>> <BR>></BODY></HTML>
