<P style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><SPAN lang=FR-CA style="mso-ansi-language: FR-CA"><FONT size=3><FONT color=#000000><FONT face="Times New Roman">Le Département de théâtre de l’Université d’Ottawa offre un programme de maîtrise ès arts d’une durée de deux ans, incluant la rédaction d’un mémoire, en théorie théâtrale et dramaturgie. Ce nouveau programme offre aux étudiants l’occasion de développer et de perfectionner leur capacité d’analyse, leur sens critique comme les aptitudes méthodologiques et intellectuelles requises pour poursuivre des études au niveau doctoral. En élargissant le champ de connaissance des étudiants de deuxième cycle aux domaines de l’épistémologie et de l’interdisciplinarité de la pratique et des études théâtrales, cette nouvelle maîtrise leur permet d’accéder à tous les programmes de doctorat offerts dans les universités canadiennes et étrangères. Au terme de leurs études, les diplômés ès arts en théâtre pourront aussi s’orienter vers une carrière d’archiviste, de conseiller littéraire, de <I style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">dramaturg</I> au sein de compagnies théâtrales ou de professeur de niveau collégial (CÉGEP ou collèges communautaires).<o:p></o:p></FONT></FONT></FONT></SPAN></P>
<P style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><SPAN lang=FR-CA style="mso-ansi-language: FR-CA"><FONT size=3><FONT color=#000000><FONT face="Times New Roman">Compte tenu de la diversité des champs de recherche des professeurs du Département et de la Faculté des arts qui prêtent leur concours à ce programme, l’analyse des principales traditions théâtrales occidentales est envisagée dans des perspectives théoriques variées. Les professeurs Joël Beddows, Annie Brisset, Douglas Clayton, Michèle Fournier, Dominique Lafon, Irena Makaryk, Yana Meerzon, Daniel Mroz, Sylvain Schryburt, David Staines, Alvina Ruprecht et Jose Ruano, entre autres, offrent des séminaires et sont habilités à diriger des mémoires de maîtrise.<o:p></o:p></FONT></FONT></FONT></SPAN></P>

Il n’y a donc qu’un maximum de douze candidats inscrits simultanément.
