The saddest news we've had to report in a very long time: the untimely death <br>
of actor, playwright and good, good friend <strong><span style='font-family:
"Calibri","sans-serif"'>Lorena Gale</span></strong>. But Lorena would <br>
have been happy to know about Matt Humphrey, King George Secondary theatre <br>
student extraordinaire. And the many deserving Jessie Award winners (she <br>
was one herself once). And some of the excellent shows on in her adopted <br>
second city. <br>
<br>
Vancouver's extended arts family--theatremakers, theatregoers, Lorena's <br>
many, many friends and fans--will miss her terribly. Our hearts go out to <br>
husband John Cooper and son Clay. <br>
