<b>About the Richard Plant Prize</b><br>
<br>
Named in honour
of the association’s co-founder and a prolific contributor to
Canadian theatre scholarship,
this award is given to the best English-language article on a
Canadian theatre
or performance topic. </span>The Committee looks for the best
article published
in the most recent year (eg. this year’s committee will consider all
articles
published between Jan. 2011- Dec. 2011) in journals and edited
collections
published both inside and outside <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:country-region
w:st="on">Canada</st1:country-region></st1:place>. Articles
published outside
these dates will not be eligible. Journal articles are eligible and
the
guideline for considering the eligibility of an essay in an edited
collection
