<b>Playwrights Guild of Canada</b>, the national charitable association of 500 playwrights is looking for a full-time <b>Membership and Contracts Coordinator</b>.
<div class="gmail_quote"><p>Reporting to the Executive Director, the Membership and Professional Contracts Coordinator is responsible for:</p>
<p><b>Member outreach/relations</b><br>• Responding to members' inquiries<br>• Maintaining member files in the database and on PGC’s website<br>• Collecting dues payments<br>• Processing membership applications<br>
• Managing members on the website and listserv<br>• Managing membership renewals<br>• Providing membership lists to the National Forum<br>• Soliciting new members<br>• Attending play readings, festivals and productions<br>
• Travelling to different parts of the country to promote PGC</p>
<p><b>Contracts</b><br>• Reviewing and overseeing administration of professional contracts<br>• Providing professional contract guidance to playwrights<br>• Administrating the RRSP program<br>• Providing committee support</p>
<p><b>Additional tasks</b><br>• Administrative support<br>• Assisting with program development<br>• Providing support to working committees, as required.</p>
<p><b>The ideal candidate will have:</b><br>• A post-secondary degree, preferably in arts administration<br>• 3-5 years experience in a non-profit environment<br>• Exceptional organizational skills<br>
• Superior communication (both oral and written)<br>• Excellent command of computer programs<br>• Passion for theatre and solid knowledge of Canadian plays and playwrights<br>• Ability to work as part of a team<br>
• Ability to work flexible hours.</p>
