Vaslav Nijinsky,
Igor Stravinsky, and Nicholas Roerich.<i> </i><span
style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span><i>The Rite of Spring </i>is
</span>regarded
by many artists and scholars as a seminal work in the histories
of dance, music,
and theatre. As part of a centennial celebration of this
important
interdisciplinary work, the Faculty of Fine Arts at York
University is hosting
a conference that will include scholarly papers, panels, and
workshops as well
as a performance featuring a revisioning of <i>Le Sacre du
printemps</i> and
musical works from the early twentieth century. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
