<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="FR-CA" style="color:#1F497D">Situé au cœur de la capitale nationale à proximité de Montréal et de Toronto et entouré d’un riche éventail d’institutions culturelles, le Département de théâtre est une école de formation dynamique
offrant, au deuxième cycle, un programme de conservatoire en mise en scène (Maîtrise en pratique théâtrale) et une maîtrise en études théâtrales qui permet aux étudiants de soumettre une thèse ou un « mémoire-création ». Au premier cycle, le Département offre
une mineure, une majeure comportant trois profils (éducation, théorie et jeu) ainsi qu’un programme spécialisé approfondi en théâtre, en français et en anglais.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="FR-CA" style="color:#1F497D">Qualifications requises : formation de conservatoire OU une Maîtrise en pratique théâtrale (M.P.T./M.F.A) OU un doctorat en études théâtrales; expérience dans l’enseignement de la mise en scène dans
un conservatoire ou dans un contexte universitaire ou collégial; une pratique artistique reconnue par les pairs. Des connaissances en dramaturgie ou en jeu (jeu moderne ou jeu classique, ou les deux) seraient un atout.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="FR-CA" style="color:#1F497D">Le candidat retenu devra pouvoir fonctionner dans un environnement bilingue, contribuer au programme de mise en scène au deuxième cycle et enseigner des cours de premier cycle. La présentation d’un
plan précis pour un programme de recherche menant à des projets de création artistique OU de recherche-création OU à des publications savantes est une condition d’embauche. La langue d’enseignement sera principalement le français. Le salaire sera établi en

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">The University of Ottawa is located in the heart of the National Capital, which is home to a wealth of artistic institutions and is ideally situated between Montreal and Toronto. The Department of Theatre is
a dynamic training institution with an exciting MFA program in Directing and an MA in Theatre with both a traditional thesis and a research-creation option. At the undergraduate level, the Department offers a Minor, a Major comprising three streams (Education,
Theory, and Acting), and an Honours Specialization in Theatre. Each of these programs is available in French and in English.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
