Feel free to email me off-list if you have any questions about this position.<BR><BR>********<BR>Costume Design—Baylor University Department of Theatre Arts (NAST accredited) seeks a costume designer for a new tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor rank beginning August 15, 2014. Requirements: MFA or PhD from an accredited college or university; some university teaching experience. Responsible for the creation and implementation of costume designs for main stage productions along with another faculty costume designer. Duties also include teaching costume construction, design, draping, and pattern making; supervising and mentoring student technicians and designers, and recruiting for competitive BFA and BA programs. Position carries an expectation of continued creative engagement with professional theatre. Salary commensurate with experience.
