COLLABORATORS’ EXCHANGE <br>

</span><b>Playwrights Guild of Canada</b><span style="font-weight:normal"> and </span><b>Saskatchewan
Playwrights Centre</b><span style="font-weight:normal"> are hosting an </span><b><u>Artistic
Collaborators/Playwright Exchange</u></b><span style="font-weight:normal"> in
Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on Sunday, May 4th, 2014 from 5-7 pm at Village
Guitars. <br>
<br>
Ten artistic collaborators (e.g. directors, dramaturgs, designers, composers)
and ten playwrights will be chosen to attend this event. Forging new
relationships and networking opportunities, all participants will be invited to
talk briefly about what kind of work inspires them and how they like to
collaborate artistically. <br></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-weight:normal"><br></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-weight:normal">The Exchange is a new initiative of Playwrights Guild
of Canada inspired by the Dramatist Guild of America. <br>
<br>
Interested parties should submit TWO paragraphs (no longer than
250 words each). The first should be a brief</span><b> Biography</b><span style="font-weight:normal">, outlining your professional accomplishments to
date. The second should be a personal </span><b>Statement of Purpose</b><span style="font-weight:normal"> that shares your artistic passions and working
methodologies. These should be written in the first-person, and they should
offer a window into your own unique artistic point of view. Why are you a
director/designer/dramaturg/composer/playwright? Why do you work in theatre? What kind of
work excites you? How do you like to work? Etc. <br>

Participation is limited to ten artistic collaborators and will be determined
on a “first-come, first-served” basis. Interested participants should forward
