<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;color:windowtext">The S Word: Stanislavski and the future of Acting.<o:p></o:p></span></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;color:windowtext">We now have a webpage so that we can begin to gauge interest from potential contributors and attendees. The page also gives some basic information about the event itself:
this will be developed over the next couple of months.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;color:windowtext">This will be the most ambitious international project that The Centre has ever undertaken, and the event is being staged in partnership with The University of California
Riverside – Professor Bella Merlin is co-curating the event – and sponsored by Routledge/Taylor and Francis.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;color:windowtext">A formal call for contributors will be published in September.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;color:windowtext">The webpage includes a form which allows potential contributors to register their interest: the event will include academic papers and presentations, lectures and talks,
workshops and master-classes… and the opening night will include a keynote address by Professor Anatoly Smeliansky (Moscow Art Theatre School), and The Stanislavski Centre/Routledge annual lecture delivered by Professor Sharon Carnicke (University of Southern
