The proposed theme is 'The Quebec/ROC (Rest of Canada) Relationship in Theatre and Performance’. This dualistic narrative persists today, yet each community is increasingly fragmented. It is important to consider the impact of this binary on each community, including both its benefits and drawbacks. Key questions this forum will address include: How is the Quebec/ROC relationship presently defined and/or negated in theatre and performance? To what extent can/does nationalist discourse still take place? How are other francophone communities across Canada taken into account? Les questions clés que posera ce forum sont les suivantes: Comment la relation entre le Québec et le reste du Canada est-elle présentement définie au théâtre et dans la performance? Des discours nationalistes existent-ils encore? Les autres communautés francophones du Canada sont-elles considérées?
