Guidelines & Call for Nominations<br>
<br>
Nominations for the Richard Plant Award, the Jean-Cléo Godin Award, the Ann Saddlemyer and the O’Neill Award will be determined by individual committees. These committees have been tasked with surveying a wide range of periodicals throughout the year, with
each committee focusing on the appropriate language publications for each award. However, nominations for these prizes are also welcomed from the full membership of CATR. The awards honour scholarly work of significant merit in any area of Canadian theatre
research. The authors do not have to be members of the Association. The scholarship can appear in any journal or may be an original article published in a book or on-line.<br>
<br>
The deadline for all 2016 Scholarly Award Submissions is <strong>Dec. 31, 2016</strong>. Nominations must include a brief letter (email) of support, but a seconder is not necessary. Members are also encouraged to consider self-nomination. Nominations for all
awards should be sent directly to this year's coordinator of Scholarly Awards.<br>

Richard Plant Award: Article in English<br>
Jean-Cléo Godin Award: Article in French<br>
Ann Saddlemyer Award: Scholarly Book in English or French<br>
O’Neill Award: Collection of Essays or Plays in either French or English. The 2017 award will be granted to the best collection of Plays in either French or English, published in 2015-2016 <br>

<strong>Prix d'excellence 2017: Les Prix Richard Plant, Jean-Cléo Godin, Patrick O’Neill et Ann Saddlemyer<br>

Lignes directrices & appel de nominations</strong><br>
<br>
Les nominations pour les prix Richard Plant, Jean-Cléo Godin et Ann Saddlemyer seront déterminées en premier lieu par les comités de sélection. Ces comités ont comme tâche de faire un aperçu d'un champ divers de périodiques au cours de l'année. Chaque comité
se limitera à la langue associée au prix dont il a la responsabilité. Par contre, tous et toutes les membres de l'ARCT ont le droit de proposer leurs propres nominations pour ces prix. Ces prix reconnaissent l'importance des recherches scientifiques dans n'importe
quel domaine des recherches théâtrales au Canada. Il n'est pas nécessaire que les récipiendaires soient membres de l'Association. Les articles peuvent paraître dans n'importe quelle revue (y compris des revues numériques) ou être des essays originaux publiés
dans un livre.<br>
<br>
La date limite pour la nomination des prix d'excellence 2016 est le <strong>31 Dec. 2016</strong>. Les nominations doivent inclure une lettre (courriel) d'appui, mais une deuxième lettre d'appui à la nomination n'est pas nécessaire. Les membres sont aussi encouragés
à proposer leurs propres travaux de recherche pour ces prix. Les nominations pour chaque prix devraient être envoyées directement à la coordonnatrice des prix d'excellence.<br>

Prix Patrick 'O'Neill : une collection d'essais ou des textes dramatiques en français ou en anglais. Le prix 2017 sera accordé à la meilleure collection de textes dramatiques en français ou en anglais, publiée pendant 2015 et 2016.<br>
