<span style="color:black">appointment for a Movement for Actors specialist at the</span> rank of Assistant Professor, commencing July 1, 2017. This position is subject to the approval of the Board of Governors.<span style="color:#C0504D"><o:p></o:p></span></span></p>

Candidates must possess a terminal degree with a specialization in movement for actors and a demonstrated research/creative activity program. Professional theatre experience would be an asset. Teaching duties will include movement courses, acting and/or creation
courses. The ability to work as a movement coach or serve as a choreographer for department productions, and the ability to teach dance courses would also be advantageous. The ideal candidate will display teaching excellence, evidenced by post-secondary teaching
experience and a commitment to innovative educational practices. <span style="color:black">
Administrative contributions to the Department of Drama, the Faculty of Fine Arts, and University community are expected. Teaching duties in other areas of the Drama Department may be assigned depending upon the candidate’s expertise. In addition, the successful
candidate may have the opportunity to supervise graduate students.</span><o:p></o:p></span></p>
